I don't. Los angeles has lots of very impotant animals such as the mountain tapirs and the bald uakaris.

Another couple of fires in Griffith Park have occured lately, fortunately nothing big. The biggest one required the zoo to relocate all of the California Condors on site, as the fire was really close to the Condor exhibits.

The latest fire occured this past saturday. This was the day that Snowleopard visited the zoo, but we did not noticed the fire while in the zoo. I noticed the fire at around 4 pm, but by 5 pm the fire was off. This is all to the good work of the LAFD, which have had their worked cut out this year with many fires in the LA area.

It's interesting that my wife, myself and Mario all walked around the Los Angeles Zoo completely oblivious to the fact that there was a fire in the vicinity. I suppose that there are so many forest fires in southern California every summer that one more didn't really bother anyone.

Scott, I'm actually thinking that the fire started at the end of the visit. Because when I returned to the zoo later in the day, it was visible from the gorilla exhibit.

Once again, today there was a fire in Griffith Park, good thing it was only 3 acres. But today was different as the LAPD finally caught a suspect of seven previous fires that occured this month alone. At first all those fires were thought to be natural, but now there might be proof that someone actually started them.
