Komodo Dragons
Old 23-02-2006

G/day all,

Great news here in Queensland with Australia zoo now having five Komodo Dragons, thats three boys and two girls, they have built some really large breeding pens for them behind the scenes, there is some information about them on their website.

Does anyone know when the Komodo Dragons at Adelaide zoo will be arriving? or any other details about them like how many.

If they plan to house the lizards in the baboon enclosure, then what is going to happen to the baboons? Will they be staying at Adelaide or are they moving to Monarto? I haven't been to Adelaide for about 6 years. It was a very neat and tidy zoo, I hope it still is.
P.S. How are the girls from Taronga going?

The girls are good loving all the attention, the baboons are going to where the Gorillas are.

Adelaides Hippos are going to monarto as soon as a sutible area of land is found (free of salinity)
