They talk about the possibility of extending their involvement in tigers.

The National Zoo at Canberra (despite its rather grandiose title) is not all that large, but it does have, to me anyway, very good big cat enclosures. It was a great home for Asta and Tangier who were born, I believe, on Ashton's Circus (?)

While I certainly don't endorse the production of hybrids, these were impressive animals, and it's sad to see them gone.

The zoo recently acquired a huge block of land, the land behind the cheetah enclosure so is set to grow. including massive lion enclosure for bachelor pride.

Think of the NZA and then times it by 5 and you'll have how big it will eventually be.

and i'd rather see the Hummer and Katanga the two giraffe brothers get some action in what will be a huge bachelor pad! Cause at the moment, it's spring time, and they really need girlfriends. Although a bigger pride of lions wouldn't be half bad either.
