Hi orang09,

There are presently 25 orang utans at Singapore Zoo (17 Borneans, 3 hybrids and 5 Sumatrans).
These are the names i know:

Bornean females:
Anita
Atina
Binte
Leela
Niah
Miri

Bornean males:
Bento
Budi
Labu
Veera
Gunta
Suria
Merlin
Zabu

Sumatran females:
Ah Meng
Sayang
Chomel

Sumatran males:
Charlie
Satria

Hybird female:
Medan

Hybrid male:
Riau

As for relations, its gonna be hard to work that out. Its a large and complex family tree.

Orang09 , you did not specify which zoo you wanted to know this information
There are probably thousands of orangs in hundreds of zoos around the world
( and I assume that you are referring to ones in the zoo , as opposed to wild ones ? )
Please look in Auckland Zoo threads for information on that zoos orangs if you are interested in it

That's very sad She was a beautiful ape.

Was Pusung the father of Sayang and Satria because I know Pusung?
