Hi
Old 31-07-2008

And yet another dutchy...!

I'm Willem (William), 25 years old and living in Utrecht. I'm busy finishing my study politics , working on my final thesis, and thus time enough to visit this forum and keep me updated. In my spare time I play rugby (prop).

The reason i'm here is to explore what differences exist between zoos all over the world, and find out wich one I definitely have got to visit.

In the Netherlands, i'm especially interested in the envolvement of zoos, changing from typical town centre animal collections to natural looking stately zoos with smaller collections but bigger exibits.

For me, Rotterdam zoo is the personification of this development in the Netherlands . They're always building, planning and making improvements! That's why I have an anual season ticket for this zoo.

So, i'm looking forward to explore all the pictures, information and news here!
Greetings,

Willem

And another member of the dutch forum finds the English one.

This forum is a little busier, just as informative over a wider range (the planet, more or less) so you'll enjoy it here just as well!

I'm just here looking for adresses to stay when i start working and earning enough for a planeticket
