Just joined, have worked at Birdland in Bourton on the Water now for 6 and a half year.

Greetings. I haven't visited 'Birdworld' for a long time. Do you keep any Hornbill or Toucan species nowadays, and if so, which ones?

the last time i went to bird land you were building a new row of 3 or 4 aviaries. We asked what was going into them but the person just said they kept changing there mind. What is actually in there as i am hoping to vist later in the year

The aviary boulevard as it is known comprises of 7 aviaries and holds the following:

2.1 Northern Helmuted Curassow & 0.2 Violacous Touraco
1.1 Red Billed Blue Pie
1.1 Grey Tree Pie & 3.0 Edwards Pheasant
0.1 Trumpeter Hornbill (just lost the male) & 1.0 Temmincks Tragopan
1.1 White Faced Scops Owl
0.2 Blue Bellied Roller & 0.1 Edwards Pheasant
1.1.4 Turtle Dove, 1.1 Black Throated Laughing Thrush, 4.4.1 Avocet & 0.2 Southern Lapwing

(Still on holiday and just nearly touched a wreathed hornbill!!)



I was ATTACKED by one of them at the KL Bird Park ! I tried to get a good photo for you .
