zoo's are deffinatly an intrest of mine but i am also very intrested in private collections of animals and what is being bred in the UK at this time (i can already see there are a few threads on private collections.)

Welcome stubeanz. I went to Paradise Wildlife Park a few years ago and saw the first baby Owston's Water Civet to be born in the UK. I'll post the picture one day.

The parks website is again not very up to date, so can you tell us of any new species or exhibits at the park, oh and by the way welcome aboard!

kiang , there is soon to be a gibbon enclosure being built not sure what species of gibbon, there is also a new penguin enclosure and a white lion enclosure which were added last year.
i personaly belive the park has improved in the past 5 yrs dramaticaly there are now larger enclosures and being built with wood and glass rather than wire cageing.
