are the calendars on the forums and galleries set differently? I uploaded some leopard seal photos yesterday on Wednesday 3 September straight after taking them, but under the photo it says uploaded on Thursday 4 September (which is today). Snowleopard's photos are also always out by a day (or maybe two days seeing as how North America is a day behind NZ). But the dates on the forum posts are all correct for when I post (eg, "today", "yesterday" and " 2 September"). So why the discrepancy? Is it something we change at our end?

hmm - I'd never noticed that before!

You are right, the GMT offset is effectively being added twice. I've changed a setting and so it should hopefully now show times based on your GMT offset defined in your vBulletin control panel.
