Okay - I've just added something like 80 new photo galleries for new zoos and moved photos into them - there's over 260 zoos now covered in the photo gallery - what an amazing resource everyone has created here with their photos!

So please make sure you upload your photos to the correct gallery - and if there isn't a gallery yet for the zoo you have photos for, just post in this thread and I'll create a new gallery for you.

If you have photos in the various "Other" galleries that aren't labelled, please either move them to the correct gallery or rename them to include the zoo name and I'll move them for you.

I've been through the Member Galleries and moved all of the photos which were labelled - but there are 250 or so photos still left which weren't labelled ... I've moved them to a new area called To be categorised and split up the photos by username ... so if you find a gallery there for your username, please have a look, and move or rename any photos there so we can get them into the correct galleries.

I'm thinking I'll have to start going through my personal collection of zoo photos and start uploading a heap - I'm sure I can add 1000+ new photos to the gallery My biggest problem is that I don't know the correct names for many of the animals - I can't keep up with all of the experts we have here

First of all, why can't I view my own photos? when I go on the gallery, then I press my photos, it tells me that I don't have permission to view that category.

Secondly, I have some pics from the Honolulu Zoo in Hawaii, but there is no gallery for it, can you make on please?

Oops - I got a little overzealous with the security settings. I've fixed that now ... the Member Galleries now show all the photos you've uploaded in all galleries.

The massive amount of zoos now in the gallery (more than 260) is truly a wonder to behold. Even though I have thoroughly enjoyed the forums here at ZooBeat, the photo gallery perhaps holds just as much interest for me now. I find it amazing that instead of flying over to Europe and going on a massive "zoo-cation" I can instead browse through the thousands of photos in the gallery and pretend that I'm there!

Hey Sim, I was just browsing the gallery and I think there are two sub-galleries that need splitting.

- The Valencia Bioparc gallery needs splitting into two galleries of the bioparc and the zoo (the main reason is because the old zoo's appearance rubs off badly on the new bioparc)

- The Lisbon Zoo gallery needs splitting into two galleries of the Lisbon Zoo and the Lisbon Oceanario
