Well, we love to share . I just thought that the gallery was very Australia dominated, and as I started uploading 16 photos each from five german zoos, I saw that many other europeans were uploading like mad too .

I don't why I started with German zoos, but i will be uploading a bunch of pics from the Danish zoos soon, since they are horribly under-representated

I just added a photoseries called "Wintertime in Copenhagen", showing how animals act when it snows in Copenhagen Zoo. Enjoy!

Thanks They are mostly from the Nordic part of the zoo, since a lot of the animals from the warmer climates are indoors (except those odd flamingoes )

I'll second (or third!?) all of that!!

Like I said in 'The gallery' thread this part of the site is fast becoming an invaluable resource.

Still many photos lacking dates though......

No, not a big problem......

Just assists in searching for stuff....

For example, if you are a bit of a zoo historian like me it is cool to see how a zoo changes over the years....thus it is helpful to know the year a photo of an enclosure was taken....it enables the historical value of the picture. Also, while ISIS gives a fairly good estimate of what is currently at any particular zoo it does not provide any information regarding what used to be at a zoo in the past....thus dated photos of particular animals at particular institutions can also have historical value.

Just something I try and do with my own pictures......

Anyway, I very much enjoy sharing and seeing others pictures, esp. pf zoos I havn't visited so keep 'em coming. All today's are superb!
