We now have more than 4,500 photos in the gallery with some great pics there

Is there instructions anymhere on how to load them to the gallery? 'cos i have a few to add but i don't know how.

It's pretty easy - just look for the "upload photos" link near the top of the gallery pages.

Just remember to choose a category for the zoo the photos were taken at, and put in a meaningful title which includes the animal or exhibit name (if relevant and if known), the zoo or location name, and the year it was taken (although if the photos contain EXIF information - ie they were taken with a digital camera, the year is not critical since the software will extract it automatically).

Maybe it's just me, but it really bothers me when people name their photos "lion enclosure" or something like that, and then put them in the category "Member galleries" without a description. How are everyone else suppose to know where that photo is taken?

Other than that, I think it's great that so many people are uploading. It's probably one of ZooBeat's best features.
