Twycross have been keeping this species since the very early days of the collection. It was one of the first 'special' primate species they obtained and virtually the only Langurs kept in the Uk at that time. With the striking bright orange babies they also featured on the covers of their guidebooks too.

I'm not sure if these are descendants of that original group. I hope they continue at Twycross and as 5 isn't very many I wonder if they can spare any?
