i think thelma and louise are hybrid cats. not sure about this though but i remember reading something about it.
The 3 sumatran tiger cubs at australia zoo from born at Mogo are the cubs of Malu (from perth zoo via auckland via wellington) and Lari (from adelaide zoo).
The three cubs are excellent for the breeding system, This is great most of the tigers there are male anyway, two of the four are only going to be used for breeding in dreamworld, Indah and Rahni will probably go to another zoo,
It all started with Wellington Zoo's breeding pair Jambi (M 1988) and cantic
(F 1992).
They had three cubs in 1996: male Rokan and females Nisha and Malu
They had three cubs in 2000: male Jaka and females Molek and Mencari
Malu moved to Perth Zoo in 1999. She had three cubs in 2000 with Calang called Setia, Berani and Tenang. Malu moved to Mogo Zoo in 2003 and had three cubs wth Larry called Rani, Juma and Singha.
Molek moved to Hamilton Zoo with Jaka and Mencari. She has just had three cubs with Oz.
Rokan still lives at Wellington Zoo. Jaka and Mencari at Hamilton and Nisha died sadly in 2006.
