Best international nature conservation organisation?

Hi everyone

I would like to become a member of a international nature conservation organisation but I don't know wich one is the best. The biggest organisation that I know is the WWF (of course). Are some of you a member of the WWF or from another international organisation? Wich one do you recommend and why?

Thanks for your help!

The WCS (Wildlife Conservation Society) is one of if not the best international conservation organization. Based in New York they manage the Bronx Zoo, NYC Aquarium, and three other zoos. They were instrumental in establishing the Masoala National Park in Madagascar and have hundreds of ongoing projects around the world. The WWF is good but the WCS is actually getting somewhere.
