I found this site Care for Animals Project at Lok Kawi Wildlife Park in Malaysia.

which says this:
Quote:
Clouded Leopards are usually found in lowland rainforest habitats. There is one Clouded leopard at the Wildlife Park. This clouded leopard was injured and rescued at a very young age and has been hand reared in captivity. It is very rare to see Clouded Leopards in the wild as they are very secretive by nature.
Lok Kawi has a range of native (Bornean) and exotic animals, but the above quote does make it sound like the clouded leopard was obtained locally

I see, most likely Borneo subspecies, Malaysian authorities have a strange way of doing things, last time I went back to Sarawak, my uncle said that sometimes they just stick animals in a zoo, its strange sometimes its even for breeding they get a particular gender and put it with another in a zoo,
